Cathy Gore - President/CEO
Cathy worked for Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services as the Director of Business and Financial Services for the Prevention Services Division. A native of Pittsylvania County, Cathy received her degree in Business Administration from Liberty University. Cathy is well known in the community for her work with the Luncheon Pilot Club of Danville. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she likes to walk or ride her bike on the River Walk Trail.
Gil Collins- Director of Finance
Gil went to Chatham HS and received his B.S in Accounting from Virginia Tech. After graduating from VT, he served two years in the Army. Upon discharge, he worked at Danville Regional Medical Center for 32 years, retiring as CFO in 2005. Gil is a Rotarian and Treasurer/Deacon at College Park Baptist Church where he enjoys participating in all activities. He enjoys golf, walking, biking, traveling, VT sports, but most importantly, spending time with his family.
Eben Leigh - Averett University Bonner Leader
Eben graduated from Tunstall High School in 2021 and immediately attended Danville Community College until he graduated in May of 2022 with his Associates of Arts and Science in Liberal Arts. Currently, he is at Averett University where he is majoring in English with a double minor in History and African and African-American Studies, as well as enrolled in the Honors Program. Also, he is the Accountability Chair of the Bonner Leadership Program for the 2023-2024 school year, the Editor of the school's literary and arts magazine, The Ember, President of the Phi Theta Kappa VA/WV Region Alumni Association, and published poet.
